This Privacy Policy explains how D Attend (“we”, “the App”) collects, uses, and stores information when you use our workforce attendance application.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: name, staff ID, phone number, passport/IC number, project assignment, role (worker / foreman / admin).
- Photos & documents: profile photo, passport/IC document image or PDF, and work attendance photos.
- Location: approximate device location when required for on-site attendance checks.
- Device & session: push notification token and signed-in session needed to keep you logged in securely.
- Work data: attendance records, hours, salary-related rates set by admin, and wallet/advance transactions if enabled.
2. How we use information
- Create and approve staff accounts
- Verify identity and phone number
- Record and approve attendance
- Calculate pay-related summaries for admins
- Send operational notifications
- Protect the App against misuse and duplicate accounts
3. Where data is stored
Data is stored using Google Firebase services (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions) operated for the D Attend project. Access is controlled by security rules and role-based permissions (worker, foreman, admin).
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Information may be visible to authorized admins and foremen in your organization for attendance and payroll operations. Infrastructure providers (e.g. Google Firebase) process data only to run the App.
5. Data retention
Account and attendance data are kept while your organization uses the App and as needed for payroll or legal records. Admins may deactivate accounts. You may request deletion via your admin or the contact below.
6. Security
Passwords are stored as secure hashes (not plain text). Access to photos and records requires a signed-in account. You should keep your login credentials confidential.
7. Children’s privacy
D Attend is intended for workplace use by adults. It is not directed at children under 13.
8. Your choices
- Update profile/password inside the App where available
- Ask your admin to correct or deactivate your account
- Request account and personal data deletion: Account deletion request (or email the publisher listed on Google Play)
